About Cindy
Cindy Baird was born in Columbus, GA, and moved to Maryland with her military family when she was very young.
Cindy returned to Georgia in 2000, moving to St. Simons Island, and couldn't imagine living anywhere else; her children and their families have also made the Golden Isles home.
Cindy remembers her first morning waking up on St Simons Island, racing out to the beach, literally feeling her good fortune. She is so grateful to be living her dream of living by the ocean in an outstanding community.
Cindy says there is so much beauty in southeast Georgia: the sea, the beaches, the massive oak trees with hanging moss, and the magnificent sunsets. This area is one of the most beautiful places on earth. She believes the Golden Isles are a spectacular place to live because the people who live there honestly care about one another. Old-timers and newcomers seem to feel a unique sense of community.
Before landing on St Simons Island, Cindy had the pleasure of living overseas and in several states within the United States, where she renovated her residences. She is often told she has an uncanny eye for design. When she moved to St Simons, Cindy drew out the kind of home she wanted and then set about having it built. Cindy, using this skill, helps her clients imagine what a home could be.
